Home Industry dalam Meningkatkan Pendapatan Rumah Tangga (Studi pada Keripik Ria Desa Pematang Kasih Dusun II, Kec Pantai Cermin, Kab Serdang Bedagai)

Abstract

The Majority of Pematang Kasih people livehood are fammers, they cannot tottaly depend on their field as a place to support their family. The fail in harvesting is one of factor that appears in agriculture sector and it is aggravated by a long time for harvest waiting around in a 6 month. Because of this, the role of non-agriculture sector work is an alternative to fulfill household income. Ria crispy is a small home industry which produces crispy snacks that main stuff consist of are cassava, sweet potato, banana, and breadfruit. This stuffs are processed to become crispy which has much colourful such as hot, corn, and balado. One of the owner home industry is Mrs. Jumini and her families. This effort is fully done at home from producing to marketing This research is used Qualitatif descriptive research method and its main research is the owner of Ria crispy home industry and 2 of her workers. Data collecting technique is primer data through interview and observation, and secondary data is documentation study and library study. Analysis model that is used is analysis with Miles interactice model and Huberman The result of this research stated that Ria crispy home industry plays role in increasing household income not only for household owner Ria crispy but also for its workers. This household based business can be learnt by many people, whoever, wherever, however and from circle of society, the most importsnt things is they have talent and diligence. This business doesn’t need many people to run it, it can be run from family circle or from neighbor, This business doesn’t need big investment capital, even in small capital
