The current economic development in Indonesia is characterized by rapid
industrial growth. The taxi business has also recently undergone a change in its
business model by changing to an online (online) model. PT. Gojek Indonesia as a
service provider cooperates with Go-Car driver partners as a transportation
provider. However, recently the development of this business model has caused
problems with protests from PT. Gojek Indonesia. The main reason is a decrease
in income, where part of the driver's income is obtained from incentives as a driver
partner of PT. Gojek Indonesia. What's interesting is, this motivates driver partners
who initially made this job a side job, to become a permanent job and a source of
income.
The purpose of this study is to analyze how incentives influence the
performance of Go-Car drivers in Medan, to analyze how motivation influences the
performance of Go-Car drivers in Medan, to analyze how incentives and motivation
