The title of this research is “Analysis Business Strategy CV.
Transportation Services. Simpati Taxi Medan”. The background of this study is
the high mobility of people from one place to another in a personal as well as
business activities have led to higher demand for transportation services, the
businessman saw a lucrative business opportunity so that competition between
companies is becoming tougher transport services. This needs to be anticipated by
implementing policies so that the business of business strategies to survive and
thrive and be able to meet the demands and wishes of the service users.
In this paper the method of research is descriptive qualitative research is
which describes a situation or event that is systematically and accurately. The
purpose of this study is to determine the business strategy adopted in the company
based on the SWOT analysis diagram, EFAS, IFAS, the results showed that the
Internal and External Factors CV. Simpati Taxi is in quadrant II, namely
diversification strategy despite facing a variety of threats, companies have an
advantage in competing.
Based on the analysis conducted, the conclusions that can be achieved
through this paper is appropriate strategies are implemented by ST strategies
SWOT analysis matrix, that must be prioritized by CV. Simpati Taxi Medan in
the face of fierce competition, namely the implementation of the strategy and
market development market penetration where the tying goal setting organizations
internal and external forces, and the absence of strategy formulation in a certain
way in order to achieve the goals that the main objective will be achieved.
