dc.description.abstract | Implementation of the International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001
is not a new thing in the national companies including PDAM Tirtanadi Medan.
ISO 9001 establishes requirements and recommendations for the design and
assessment, which aims to ensure that the organization will deliver a product that
meets the requirements set. PDAM Tirtanadi Medan as an organization is
expected to create a better service to the public that one of the efforts is to apply
international quality standards ISO 9001.
The purpose of this research was to describe the implementation of ISO
9001 in PDAM Tirtanadi Medan.
In this research used a qualitative method with descriptive approach with
data collection through interviews, observation and documentation.
Based on the results of the reasearch it can be concluded that the
implementation of International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001 in PDAM
Tirtanadi Medan using the PDCA (plan-do-check-act), then adopted into the
clauses required by the ISO 9001 have largely been running well, although not
too maximum that can be seen from the communications made by the company to
the customer is still not good. | en_US |
