L F. L. TOBING: Fuel consumption analisis of Hand Tractor on preparing land at Desa Sibaganding Kabupaten North Tapanuli. Under the supervision of TAUFIK RIZALDI and ACHWIL PUTRA MUNIR. The fuel consumption analisis of tractor is its ability to prepare land using implements to know the fuel usage and work capacity. The objective of this research was to know the fuel necessity of power tiller hand tractor on preparing land at Desa Sibaganding Kabupaten North Tapanuli. Factorial randomized block design was used in this research with two factors, i.e. implement (moldboard plow, pulverizer, and harrow) and velocity (1 m/s, 1,2 m/s, and 1,4 m/s) with two method are returned closing and circle methods. Parameters measured were fuel consumption and tractor work capacity. The results showed that velocity had significantly affected the fuel consumption, and tractor work capacity if the implements were applied. The highest fuel consumption was found in the combination of velocity of 1,4 m/s and pulverizer with circle method. And the highest capacity was found in the combination of velocity of 1,4 m/s and harrow using returned closing method.en_US
