| dc.description.abstract | PUTRI MELINDA SIBARANI: Identification of Production System and Compost Quality in CV. Reksa Subur Sembada Kecamatan Stabat Kabupaten Langkat, supervised by SAIPUL BAHRI DAULAY and RISWANTI SIGALINGGING. The development of organic farming as a business is predicted to have good prospect for the future, making the demand for organic fertilizers, especially compost, increased. To meet the increasing consumer demand, efforts to increase production and quality of compost is needed. Therefore, to formulate programme of increasing production of compost, systems approach was applied by taking information from stakeholders. This research was conducted from April 2011 until mei 2011. The system of compost production was interpreted into blackbox diagram consisted of controllable and uncontrollable output, parameters, and feed back control of production system. Environmental aspects and social-economic aspects were very influential factors on the system. The results of testing at Research and Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, USU showed that compost produced by CV. Reksa Subur Sembada is appropriate with SNI standarts. | en_US |
