Analisis Konsistensi Mutu Crumb Rubber di Pabrik Karet PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Membang Muda

Abstract

RAJU : The analysis of Quality Consistency of Crumb Rubber at the Rubber Factory of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Membang Muda. Under the supervision of ACHWIL PUTRA MUNIR and TAUFIK RIZALDI. Natural rubber is one of agricultural commodities which support the economics of Indonesia. One of the natural rubber production is crumb rubber. Nowadays the improvement of rubber consumption is just depend on the high consistency and uniformity of the product. To know and control the consistency of crumb rubber at the Rubber Factory of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Membang Muda, a quality consistency analysis of the crumb rubber produced is needed. The analysis that had been done in this study was statistical control technique using controller map and cause-effect diagram. Data of Original Plasticity (Po) and Plasticity Retention Index (PRI) in July 2007, July 2008, July 2008 and July 2010 were used. The study indicated that Po of the crumb rubber production on July 2007 and July 2009 were statistically not undercontrol with the average of 33.66psi and 32.16psi, while on July 2008 and July 2010 were undercontrol with the average of 33.68psi and 31.55psi. PRI of July 2007 and 2009 were statistically not undercontrol with the average of 76.08 and 74.93, while those of July 2008 and July 2010 were undercontrol with the average of 76.05 and 74.53.
