dc.description.abstract | The business world is a world full of competition. Competition was so
hard that not infrequent attempts to kill each other between business ventures with
one another. Amid the increasingly complex competition, PT. Pos Indonesia can
still survive. The emergence of competitors increasingly making delivery business
letters and packages will become more compelling PT. Pos Indonesia must make
many changes in the field of innovation. The company must continue to innovate
in order to maintain its existence is maintained.
The purpose of this study was to determine the product innovation PT.Pos
Indonesia in maintaining the existence of customer service and competitiveness.
This research was conducted using qualitative research with descriptive
approach. Analysis of the data used is data reduction, data presentation, and
drawing conclusions and verification.
The results showed that PT. Pos Indonesia successfully innovate products
ie the Post Express, Express Mail servive (EMS), Post Export, Instant Money
Order, Prima Money Order Prima, Stamps Prisma, PosPay, MposPay. Product
innovation PT.Pos Indonesia is divided into two categories, namely me too prduct
and Product Line Extention. Key factors driving product innovation PT.Pos
Indonesia, Market pull, push Technology and the emergence of new competitors.
Factors failure of product innovation development PT.Pos Indonesia is a
