This study aims to see the effect of salinity on the growth bioamassa mangrove
non secretion species Rhizophora apiculata in seedling and content of lipid and
NSL at tree level. Made with 5 levels of salinity treatments of 0%, 0.5%, 1.5%, 2%
and 3% and the seed is planted for 5 months. The results showed the best height
and diameter growth of Rhizophora apiculata seedlings at salinity 1.5%, leaf
number and leaf area in the salinity of 0.5%. Stem and root biomass best at
salinity 1.5%, while the best leaf biomass in the salinity of 0.5%. Total lipid
content of the tree Rhizophora apiculata leaves more in the 9.60 mg than in the
root is 6.40 mg. NSL content of the tree Rhizophora apiculata NSL roots more in
the 0.226 mg than in the leaves is 0.10 mg. This study may provide information to
the rehabilitation program in order to obtain Rhizophora apiculata seedlings
growing best at different levels of salinity.
