Green Belt in Binjai City. Under Academic Supervision of SITI LATIFAH and
YUNUS AFIFUDDIN.
One of the green open space is green belt that’s be one important to
anticipating degradation of environment quality in Binjai City. Further more,
tress healthy of green belt in Binjai City is important to watch because it can
impact to the ability in absorb carbon emission. So it’s need to analys tress
healthy and biomass, carbon stock, CO2 absorbtion at green belt in Binjai City.
This research was doing at 51 green belt in 3 district in Binjai City. The sample
had taken by survey with sensus method. Method of data accounting was using
FHM (Forest Health Monitory) method for trees healthy and allometric models
for biomass.
The result showed that finding 4 species at green belt with dominated
species is glodokan (Polyathia longifolia). For trees healthy, based the research
at green belt in Binjai City, there it’s in low damage or it can be no damage with
NIK 3,12. The higher values of carbon stock based kind of plant from 51 green
belt is in glodokan 611.592,85 Ton C/ha with CO2 absorbtion by 281.250,41 Ton
C/ha. The higher values of carbon stock is in Binjai Timur district with
430.255,91 Ton C/ha. | en_US |
