Pengaruh Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Studi pada PT. Prima Sauhur Lestari Pematang Kerasaan)

Abstract

The Awareness about working health and safety is very required, because the risk of work accidents can be happened anytime. However many work accidents are still founded. Working health and safety are the gateway for employee safety. The successful of working health and safety is important for achieving the business target or objective, one of way by increasing the productivity of employee performance. Based on the problem of research, the objective of research is to know how big the effect of Working Healt and Safety on Employee Performance is. The research was done in PT. Prima Sauhur Lestari Pematang Kerasaan. The research is quantitative research with associate approach. The method of research for pulling in sample is non probability sampling. Because the amount of population is less, they are 81 employees from production part of PT. Prima Sauhur Lestari Pematang Kerasaan. Data was obtained through primer and secondary data. Based on the research result, can be concluded that there are significant and positive effect between working healt and safety (X) on employee performance (Y). The condition can be seen from t count > t table, that is 5,121 > 1,990 with significance level 0,000. Because of the significance level < 0,05, so Ho is refused and Ha is received. Independent variable influences the dependent variable 24,9% while other 75.1% is influenced by another thing which is not discussed in this research.
