Indonesia is a country that has cases of violence against women. The National Commission on Violence against Women (Komnas Perempuan) noted that for 17 years, namely during 2004-2021 there were 544,452 cases of domestic violence (KDRT) or the personal sphere. Cases of sexual violence against women continue to increase every year. For the Sumatra region, every year at least 250 cases of sexual violence are recorded. North Sumatra based on data from North Sumatra PESADA, United Sumut Alliance, Pusaka, Hapsari and LBH Apik Medan, in 2016 as many as 42 cases, in 2017 as many as 70, in 2018 as many as 64, in 2019 as many as 75 and in 2020 as many as 61. This data is evidence that cases violence against women and children is increasing every year and an immediate solution must be found to reduce the number of violence against women and children. The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection has developed an Online Information System for the Protection of Women and Children (SIMFONI-PPA) since 2018 to listen to the problems of violence in Indonesia. The author is interested in researching the Implementation of the Online Information System for the Protection of Women and Children (SIMFONI-PPA) at the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in North Sumatra Province. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method by collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants in this study included the Secretary, General & Personnel Sub-Section, Head of Gender and Child Information Data, Head of Rights Fulfillment Division, Head of Protection for Women's Rights and Special Rights for Children, and sections of the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in North Sumatra Province. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the purpose of the Online Information System for the Protection of Women and Children (SIMFONI-PPA) is to make administration much easier and more efficient, with accurate and accessible data by agencies that provide protection for women and girls. The benefit felt by the victim is the fast access provided by the North Sumatra Women and Children Empowerment Service through the Online Information System for the Protection of Women and Children (SIMFONI-PPA) to carry out the complaint process such as taking a pill to the government hospital and reporting the perpetrator to the nearest police station. . Because the victim's data was already in the hospital and the police station to be targeted as a victim, the data would not be re-recorded, which usually takes a long timeen_US
