Penilaian Ekonomi Pemanfaatan Hasil Hutan oleh Masyarakat Desa Sekitar Hutan (Studi Kasus Cagar Alam Martelu Purba Desa Purba Tongah Kecamatan Purba Kabupaten Simalungun)

Abstract

Economic value exploiting of conservation forest result during the time tend to do not be calculated because very piercing it floods campaign and erosion, although the forest benefit have clear its existence and have felt clear. This research also background by the fact that society around Preserve forest of Martelu Ancient have exploiting many result of forest like : water of nira, sugar palm leaf, leaf of sungkit, sugar palm fruit (kolang-kaling), plant medicinize and firewood, but how much its economic value not yet been known. This research aim to to : identifying types result of forest exploited by countryside society around forest; knowing economic value result of forest exploited by countryside society around forest, knowing contribution exploiting of forest result by countryside society around forest to earnings of countryside society around forest. This research was executed in June 2005, using quantitative method as especial method with data collecting through interview, quisioner and supported by method qualitative. Intake of sampel conducted by sampling purposive. From result of research Obtained that economic value contribution exploiting of forest result to earnings of society equal to Rp. 98.461.000/year or 31,37%. This value was obtained from exploiting of uliginous forest result of nira, leaf of sungkit, drug crop, sugar palm fruit, sugar palm leaf (rib broom) and firewood (soban). Economic value exploiting of highest forest result is water of nira equal to R.66.625.000/year or 67,67% and lowest is plant medicinize equal to Rp. 3.456.000/year or 3,51%. Pursuant to the fact can know that exploiting of forest result which during the time do not be calculated in the reality have given big enough contribution to earnings of countryside society around forest.
