dc.description.abstract | Agarwood is one of non-timber forest products that have many properties
and high value. Require a long time to form agarwood. This study describes how
to accelerate the formation of agarwood and agarwood produce fairly good
quality. The method used is by injecting trees A. malacceensis Lamk. with
different injection frequencies on the trunk bottom, middle and top for fourteen
weeks of observation.
The results of this study demonstrate the sapwood has been formed three
weeks after the initial injection. The percentage of infection reached 100% at a
frequency of three times injection. The quality is getting better aloes sapwood
with increasing frequency against stem injection. The quality is getting better
sapwood with increasing frequency of injection to the rod. Central stem is the part
that quality sapwood best gaharu. | en_US |
