dc.description.abstract | The human activity are always in need of leadership. All of organization
whatever its kind exactly have and needs a supreme leader who runs the
leadership activity. A leader is a person who able to influence and persuade the
other people to do the thing which he wants. The Militeristics Authoritarian
Leadership is a kind of leadership which combined the militeristics leadership and
authoritarian leadership, which is a leadership that gives much of commandos or
orders to his employees, which is coercive, and have an absolute power.
Saloth Sar and Soeharto is an ex-leader of Cambodia and Indonesia. Both
figures have big influences in the country which they ruled. Both of them was
known as a strict and rigid leader when they were ruled in Cambodia and
Indonesia. This can be seen from the rules and policies which they applied in each
countries when they were ruled.
This research is trying to explained and also to compared the Militeristics
Authoritarian leadership style who owned by Saloth Sar in Cambodia in 1975-
1979 and Soeharto in Indonesia in 1965-1970 period. This kind of research is a
qualitative research using the comparative method. This research is a library
research. The sources of data which used in this research are secondary data,
which is obtained from the books, websites, journal, and others which related to
