Peranan Perusahaan Inti Rakyat (PIR) Eucalyptus spp dan Kontribusinya terhadap Pendapatan Petani Hutan di Kecamatan Habinsaran Kabupaten Toba Samosir

Abstract

The aims of research were to identify role Eucalyptus Community Substance Company (CSC) to fulfil pulp raw materials for PT. Toba Pulp Lestari (PT. TPL), to identify contribution of Eucalyptus to forest farmer household, and to identify social opinion to existence Eucalyptus CSC. The research was conducted at Habinsaran District, Toba Samosir Residence, North Sumatera Province on February 2005. object of the researh was forest farmer household. The research used descriptive method and quantity analyse. Method was used quality as main method and supported by quantity method. Data was obtain with interview by questionnaire observation and literature. Sample derivation used sensus, where just Eucalyptus CSC members as much as 38 hoesehold and purposive sampling as much as 38 household to identify their opinions about existence Eucalyptus CSC. The result of reseach shown that Eucalyptus CSC could be to fulfilled pulp raw materials for PT. TPL at 2003 years 5,8% and 2004 years 7,8%. From 2003 until 2004 years occurred increase raw materials resources from CSC to PT. TPL was 56,3%, with the existence of Eucalyptus CSC, then could be to increased plasma income (CSC members) with contribution rate at 3,3 % - 58,3 % with contribution average at 16,61 %. From interview results to un-Eucalyptus CSC community obtained 86% agree with existence Eucalyptus CSC after look at use was obtained plasma and wished to be Eucalyptus CSC members
