Coaching is a method that is considered easy to make employees more efficient, because the coaching superiors can more easily determine the problems experienced by his subordinates to find a way to solve them. Besides Coaching, employee training is also a factor that encourages the achievement of competence of employees so as to provide the best performance in the company. By implementing coaching and training are planned, purposeful, gradual, and continuous, is an effective and efficient way to transform the skills and abilities of employees to be more increased than before.
Formulation of the problem in this research are: 1) Does coaching have a significant effect on the performance of employees at Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Rantau Prapat? 2) Is training has a significant influence on employee performance? 3) Is the coaching and training together has a significant influence on employee performance? The purpose of this study are: 1) To obtain empirical evidence about the effect of coaching on the performance of employees at Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Rantau Prapat. 2) To determine the effect of training on employee performance BSM Rantau Prapat. 3) To determine the effect Coaching and Training on employee performance BSM Rantau Prapat.
Forms of research used in this research is a form of associative research with a quantitative approach. Methods of data collection is done through a questionnaire, literature study, and the documentation of study. The authors took a sample of30 respondents. Model analysis of data using multiple linear regressionwithSPSSversion16.
The results showed that Coaching has a significant influence on employee performance with a value of 0000, training has a significant influence on employee performance with a value of0.010. Coaching and Training together significantly influence the variable Y is employee performance with significant value 0.000. In addition, the value of R Square is 0.640 or 64%, this figure menjelaskamthata variation of the second independent variable able to explain the variation of the dependent variable64% and the remaining 36% is explained by other factors that are not entered in this study.
