Peran Badan Permusyawaratan Nagari dalam Penyusunan Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nagari Baringin Tahun 2015-2020

Abstract

The Nagari Consultative Body is a manifestation of democracy at the nagari level. Bamus functioned to establish the nagari rules with the village government, to accommodate and channel the aspirations of the nagari community. In this case the role of the Nagari Consultative Body is to prepare the Nagari Medium Term Development Plan which aims to build the nagari progress in accordance with the vision and mission of the elected Wali Nagari. The research method used is qualitative descriptive method. Descriptive research to analyze and present data and facts systematically so that more easily understood and concluded. This study aims to find out how the involvement of the Nagari Consultative Body in the preparation of the Mid Term Development Plan Nagari, especially in Nagari Baringin. The result of the research in Nagari Baringin, the researcher concludes that the Nagari Consultative Body has not worked maximally in accordance with the role of BAMUS in the regency of Agam regency. This is due to the existence of BAMUS is a new institution that exist in Nagari Baringin, other factors that cause BAMUS less aksimal in accommodating the aspirations of the community is the lack of socialization conducted by the Government Nagari and BAMUS itself to the introduction of BAMUS in Nagari Baringin
