Konflik Internal Partai (Studi Kasus: Pemilihan Ketua Partai Golkar Kabupaten Karo 2017)

Abstract

This research tries to explain about the conflict that happened in election of Golkar Party Chairman of Karo Regency in 2017 and how the management of conflict resolution so that 2 people who initially try to fight over the position as Chairman finally can unite in the same stewardship. Based on the analysis results found that the management of conflict resolution by Golkar Party in election conflict Golkar Party Chairman Chairman of Karo Regency using 4 methods namely method of domination (emphasis), method of integrative settlement, authoritative command method and compromise method. However, the most influential conflict management in the settlement of Golkar Party Karo conflict is the method of domination (emphasis), the other three methods are part of the method of domination. All decisions taken by third parties (Provincial DPD) as a party with higher authority in the resolution of this conflict must be obeyed by all parties. Decision of the Provincial DPD which finally made Ferianta Purba elected as Chairman of DPD Golkar Party Karo Regency while rival Firdaus Sitepu elected as Secretary of DPD Golkar Party Karo Regency.
