This research was conducted in Ermina 2 Net which is one of the cafe located in STM
Lubukpakam road. Because many other similar businesses are present among internet cafe
Ermina 2 there needs to be done business development through business strategy as a guide
in winning the competition. Moreover, technological advances everyone can access the
internet through Handphone can make the lack of consumers who come. Now Ermina 2 Net
must have reliable products and services to cope with competitors and technological
advancements.
This study aims to determine and determine what the right competitive strategy that
must be applied in order to win the competition that occurs among them the same business
people and also know the strength and weakness factor in business cafe business.By knowing
these factors, the Ermina 2 Net can think to a create new things that every customer can
accept to come to their bussiness.
Form of research used in this research is descriptive research by using qualitative
analysis. By explaining every factor of the advantages and disadvantages of this effort. The
research method is done by interview, obeservation, and documentation study. Data analysis
techniques use IFAS and EFAS matrix, SWOT quadrant, and SWOT matrix.
The results of this study indicate that the appropriate competing strategy to be used in
competition with other cafe business is: Ermina 2 Net must make new breakthroughs and
innovation to their efforts to increase their business turnover. Such as making hotspots in
more space so that consumers can use their laptop in the cafe and only pay connection fees.
And the impact of this strategy is the high turnover earned by the cafe
