    Pengaruh Pendidikan dan Pelatihan terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Agen Jasa Asuransi Pada PT. Prudential Life Assurance Medan

    Abstract
    In an organization, the human element or employees is of strategic importance in the production process. How to control and manage them has become an issue separate from an organization. Therefore, the largest portion of a theory of organizational behavior and management is how the human element central role as the main actors of the organization. Theory of organizational behavior and human management strategy is developed to explain the mobilization of employees in achieving organizational objectives taking into account the uniqueness of the employees. Because the real impact on the performance of the quality of Human Resources need to be managed optimally. For example, the level of education and low skills need to be enhanced through training. Then need to be analyzed whether the education and skills that have been improved would be no impact on work productivity. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of education and training on work productivity insurance agent in PT Prudential Life Assurance Medan Branch. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis using the method of collecting data by distributing questionnaires were processed using simple linear regression analysis. Test is used to test the research instruments such as validity and reliability test. Hypothesis testing using partial test (t) and a simultaneous test (f). The research results that respondents regarding educational programs and training agents of insurance services at PT. Prudential Life Assurance can be said to be very good, because the average value of the entire statement is 4.185 is in the interval from 4.20 to 5.00. Labor productivity insurance agent at PT. Prudential Life Assurance Neither can be said by respondents, because the average value of the overall statement is of 3.84 is in the interval from 3.40 to 4.19. The results of all hypothesis concluded that the influence of education and training on work productivity insurance agent at PT. Prudential Life Assurance significant but have a low correlation it is based on a calculation coefficient is at 8.5%, while the rest influenced by other factors not examined by 91.5% while the value of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.291 which shows the relationship of education and training with labor productivity insurance agents have a low correlation that is in the interval from 0.20 to 0.39.
