This experimental study aims to examine the effect of gratitude on reducing body dissatisfaction in adolescent girls. This study uses a time-series design. The subjects in the study were 5 teenage girls aged 15-16 years (3 girls aged 15 years and 2 girls aged 16 years). Research participants received treatment in the form of filling out daily journals about gratitude for 21 days. Measurements were taken 4 times, which resulted in 4 groups of different scores. The difference in scores was analyzed by Friedman's test and found a value of .529 (ρ.sig>.05). The results of statistical tests showed that there was no effect of gratitude on decreasing body dissatisfaction in research participants. Descriptively, it is known that the value of body dissatisfaction fluctuates during the treatment period. The results indicate that further exploration is needed regarding better methods to generate gratitude so as to reduce body dissatisfaction in adolescent girls.en_US
