Resistensi Buruh Terhahap Kebijakan Sistem Outsourcing ( Studi kasus : Gabungan Serikat Buruh Indonesia (GSBI) di kota Medan)
Abstract
The resistance of the workers is a form of discontent due to the
enactment of Labor Law No. 13 of 2003 which legalizes the practice of contract
work systems in companies. This law is very detrimental to the workers due to the
large amount of wage insurance coverage that is not provided by the company.
This study attempts to analyze the resistance of laborers to the outsourcing system
policy in Medan city. In reviewing the resistance of laborers to the policy of
outsourcing system this researcher uses labor theory, resistance theory and
outsourcing concept (power expert).
The research method used is qualitative descriptive method, the result of
the research concludes that the policy of outsourcing system applied by company
raises labor resistance. GSBI resistance is said to still not fully successful.
