Abstract

Woman and children is a state assets to be noticed by local governments. The local governments as one of the actor who has the authority to issue a policy that can improve the quality of life of women and children. Research is trying to analysis of women and children’s life quality policy 2011-2015 in Medan City. In reviewing quality of life of women and children used theory The public policy, Analysis the public policy, Definition life quality and the components life quality. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative methods, The studies concluded that in the application of the mayor Medan number 34 year 2010 about pengarusutamaan gender and the mayor Medan number 436/1084.K on the integrated one-stop service the empowerment of women and children, the city of medan in 2012 still found a lot of faults. So it is not all areas of the condition of women in the city the year 2011-2015.
