dc.description.abstract | Talking about the ethnicity field city is one of the cities in Indonesia where
the population consists of various ethnic/tribal. Tribes such as Malay, Minang,
tiongha, Aceh and Batak. Batak tribe consists of Batak Toba, Batak Mandailaing,
Batak Karo, Batak Simelungun, and Pakpak. Of the tribe of Batak in North
Sumatra as mentioned above these are the focus of this research is Karo Batak
tribes. Karo tribe is a tribe that inhabited Karo (Karo highlands), Deli Serdang,
Kota Binjai, Langkat, Dairi, Medan, and Southeast Aceh Regency. However, the
majority of indigenous tribes living in the area Karo Karo district that is located in
the Karo highlands. This tribe has its own language called Bahasa Karo.
The problem that will be formulated in this study is: "How Political
Behavior Karo People in District of Medan Selayang In North Sumatra
gubernatorial election in 2013". This study is limited to: (1) how political
behavior approach used Karo people District of Medan Selayang in North
Sumatra gubernatorial election in 2013 ?; (2) What is the community's assessment
of the candidate karo governor and vice governor ?; (3) Is there any effect on the
behavior of the political clan Silima Karo people in making choices?
This research was carried out by 3 methods approach, namely 1
Sociological Approach This approach is basically explained that the social
characteristics and social groupings, age, sex, religion, occupation, family
background, the activities in formal and informal groups and others provide
significant influence on the formation of political choices .; Psychological
Approach 2 appears due to a reaction to the dissatisfaction of the sociological
approach. Therefore, in this approach sosialisasilah that determine the behavior of
voters and political orientation on a person's choice not sociological
characteristics .; 3 Rational Approach activities carried out by looking at voting
behavior as a product between profit and loss calculations. | en_US |
