Respon Masyarakat terhadap Peyandang Penyakit Kusta di Desa Natam Baru Kecamatan Badar Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara

Abstract

Leprosy as one of the communicable diseases still pose a problem, the problem is not only in terms of medical treatment but extends to social, economic, and cultural. Leprosy or persons with leprosy related to social stigma and discrimination. Issues addressed in this study is how the public response to peyandang penyait leprosy in the village of Baru subdistrict Badar Natam Southeast Aceh district. This study aims to determine the public response to people with leprosy in the village of New Natam. Through this research is expected to develop concepts and theories relating to the concept of public response to people with leprosy. This research was conducted in the village of Baru subdistrict Badar Natam Southeast Aceh district. This research is classified in type a descriptive study with a total population of 150 families who later on took a sample of 30 people. The technique of sampling simple random sampling technique ", ie all individual members of the population have an equal chance to be sampled or to become a member of the engineering sample of how dice. For memproleh the data, researchers using questionnaire research instruments. In analyzing the data, researchers using quantitative analysis method with descriptive data analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis concluded that the public response to peyandang leprosy in the village of Baru subdistrict Badar Natam Southeast Aceh Regency dlihat aspects of perception, attitude and participation of getting a positive response.
