Pengaruh Program Psikoedukasi Keluarga terhadap Keberfungsian Sosial Pasien Gangguan Jiwa Akibat Ketergantungan Narkoba di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Family psycoeducation to increase knowledge is an attempt at achieving independence of the family to treating a patient from a mental illness .The importance of the family in the treatment of clients from a mental illness can be viewed through various terms. First , the family was the place where individual start interpersonal relations with its environment. The families constituting the main education institutions for individuals to learn and develop the value of , confidence , the attitudes and behavior. Second , if the family is seen as one system , hence the problems that occurred at one member can affecting an entire system .Third , a variety of services sanity no place clients of a lifetime but only a facility that help clients and family develop their capacity to prevent the occurrence of the problem , cope with a range of issues , and maintain the state of adaptive. This report aims to understand impact of the family psycoeducation to social function of mental disorder patients from drug dependence which is currently do outpatient in an asylum north sumatera .The number of respondents the object of research is about 30 people .Type research is eksplanation research that are analyzed quantitatively .Researchers used the survey as the tools to obtain primary data , and equipped them with information obtained through observation and interview. The results of the analysis data show that is the between the family psycoeducation to social function of mental disorder patients due to dependence drugs in a mental hospital the province of north sumatera .Can be seen from the results of data processing through the statistical package for the social science ( spss.20 ) shows a correlation coefficient both variables is 88 % which means the relationship between the two variable in categorized as strong .Based on observations also inconclusive as to the capability of and skills family in treating mental disorder patients brings the influence positive on social keberfungsian mental disorder patients itself .Now 80 % of the total mental disorder patients study by researchers has been able to back run the role , obligation , and responsibilities well .
