Kontribusi Anak Bekerja terhadap Sosial Ekonomi Keluarga (Studi Kasus Anak Bekerja Sebagai Tukang Sapu Angkutan di Terminal Terpadu Amplas, Medan)

Abstract

Children worked in Indonesia can be seen by naked eye and therefore their existence can not be denied. The involvement of family members, especially children become indispensable in every sector to meet and help the economy family. A problem to be raised in this study is "is there a contribution of working children on family socio economic (a case studies of children working as a sweeper transport in Terminal Terpadu Amplas, Medan". The study was conducted at the Terminal Terpadu Amplas, Medan. This type of research is included in the category of descriptive study with qualitative approach that aims to know the contributions of children‟s work on the socio-economic (a case studies of children working as a sweeper transport in Terminal Terpadu Amplas, Medan). Informants in this study is divided into three parts, namely the key informants, key informants, and additional informants. Key informants in this study were 5 children worked as a sweeper transport in In Terminal Terpadu Amplas, while key informants in this study were 5 people from families or parents with key informants, and informants extra in this study there were 3 of those be around Terminal Terpadu Amplas, including transport drivers, hawkers, and the street vendor in terminal. Methods of data collection are literature study, in-depth interviews and direct observation in the field. Based on the data that has been collected and analyzed it can be concluded that the child worked as a sweeper transport in Terminal Terpadu amplas contribute to the socio-economic families. In this case the terms of its contribution to meeting the needs of education, health, housing, the need for food and clothing.
