Pengaruh Elit Politik dalam Proses Pemekaran Daerah (Studi Analisis : Pemekaran Provinsi Sumatera Tenggara)

Abstract

Thesis, entitled " The Influence of Elite in the process of regional enlargement," This study tried to descript the influence of local political elite in the process of expansion of Tabagsel Southeast Sumatra Province. With regional autonomy in accordance with Law No. 32 of 2004 makes the regions are required to be more active in supporting development in their respective regions. Regional expansion into a discourse that appeals to the local political elite. The method used in this research is the study of methods of descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques is done by observation, interview, and literature study. As for the unit of analysis and informants in this study is the local political elite such as the Executive, Legislative and community leaders Mandailing Natal, South Tapanuli and Padangsidimpuan city. Interpretation of the data is done by using the records of each time researchers dropped from the field. This study describes about the influence of the political elite in the process of expansion of Southeast Sumatra province. Political elite as a political force effect on the expansion of Southeast Sumatra province. Political elites play a role in consolidating all stakeholders in the Southeast Sumatra province. Their bonding social structure Dalihan Na Tolu in social life Tabagsel can strengthen the position and influence of the political elite in Southeast Sumatra province.
