dc.description.abstract | Development that is centered will lead to the development gaps between
centers in the area. Like Indonesia ever run centrally development policy has
spawned inequality between urban and rural areas, where development is more
focused on urban centers, while in rural areas obtain less attention in terms of
development. Responding to the problem of inequality in rural and urban
development, the government on January 15, 2014 inaugurated the Law (UU) No. 6
2014 about the village, which is accompanied by the provision of funds from the
government, known as the Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD). It is known that the ADDbased
participatory management by making rural communities as the main actors of
development. Alokasi Dana Desa have been run in all villages in Indonesia,
including Desa Johar Kecamatan Karang Baru Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. With the
passage of the use of ADD programs created by the Administration of Johar Village,
the researchers are interested in knowing How The Public Response To The
Development Programs Sourced From Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) in Desa Johar
Kecamatan Karang Baru Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang.
This research used descriptive research method that is research that
describes objects and phenomenon researched. In obtaining the necessary data,
researchers used data collection techniques literature study and field study consisted
of observation, questionnaires and interviews. In analyzing the data, researchers used
a descriptive analysis method with quantitative approach.
Based on analysis of data obtained, the indicators on the response of the
community is the perception, attitude and participation, it is known that people in the
village of Johar have a positive perception category, a positive attitude category, and
a neutral participation category. So based on the overall results, it is known that the
community has responded positively to the development programs sourced from the
Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) in Desa Johar kecamatan Karang Baru Kabupaten Aceh
