Perilaku Perempuan Islam Pemilih Pada Pemilukada Putaran II Kota Medan 2010 (Studi Kasus: Kemenangan Rahudman Harahap dan Dzulmi Eldin di Kelurahan Perintis, Kecamatan Medan Timur)

Abstract

This research aims to describe the political participation of women in local elections in 2010 Medan second round. The method used is descriptive to take a place at Pioneer Village Medan. The process of data retrieval is done through the study of literature and research results to the community and especially its depth interviews with Muslim women through purposive sampling technique, manage and analyze data from a qualitative descriptive technique. In this research used three approaches to a reference in drawing conclusions about political behavior, Muslim women in Pioneer Village as for most of the three approaches, namely psychological approaches, sociological approaches and rational approach. of three approaches to women's political behavior tends to be sociological islam islam which women exercise their right to vote based on the proximity of social factors such as religion, ethnicity and race. And in this research, the case study is kemenagan pair Dzulmi Rahudman-Eldin as for these factors because most Muslim women in this village chose this couple because it comes from religion and tribe are owned by many Muslim women who are the main respondents in this study.
