| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to determine how the differences and comparisons of
political thought Hizb Indonesia with the Jaringan Islam Liberal about the
relationship between Islam and the state. And why Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia and
the Jaringan Islam Liberal has a different view in looking at the relationship
between Islam and the state? One facing countries that majority of the people of
Islam at the time of its formation is how the seat of religion in the state of life.
Given Indonesia is a country with a Muslim population at most so the idea of the
relationship between Islam and the state has always been the actual discourse in
Indonesia. Indonesia as the country with the largest number of Muslims in the
world can not be separated from the influence of Islam in its politics. Although
Indonesia is not a country with a theocracy, but clearly visible influence of Islam
in Indonesian politics.
Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia is an organization or Islamic party in Indonesia
who are concerned in terms of enforcement of the Caliphate. Islamic Khilafah is a
political institution transnational Islamist pan that will unite all Muslim countries
in a unitary nation state politics. Khilafah is a common leadership for all Muslims
in the world. Khilafah responsible for implementing Islamic law, and convey the
message of Islam to the entire earth.
Jaringan Islam Liberal has a very different view of the conservative
Islamic organizations and fundamentalist. According to the Liberal Jaringan Islam
Liberal, there is one common thread that can be drawn from the liberal Muslim
intellectuals, the feeling and spirit to free (liberating) Muslims from the shackles
of backwardness and stagnation. Shackles is what they consider to be the main
cause of the impotence of Muslim nations in front of a foreign nation (colonial).
According to the Liberal Islam Network just to rebuild (reconstruction) viewpoint
and religious attitudes, the deplorable conditions that can be improved. Liberal
Islam Network receive liberalism and democracy where, according to their
