| dc.description.abstract | This research describes the ideologues women‘s movement built by
Soekarno in his book entitled "Sarinah". Ideology women‘s movement that had
been there, that feminism, considered Soekarno not been able to solve the
problems that always afflict women, especially women Indonesia because it is not
in accordance with the customs in Indonesia. Based on that background Soekarno
pouring his thoughts in a book entitled ―Sarinah‖ in the hopes that serve as
guidelines for women in Indonesia in carrying out a movement and the struggle
for the creation of a social revolution. Based on discourse analysis conducted by
the authors, the ideology of the women‘s movement who want Soekarno for
women Indonesia is a movement based on socialist values, where all the women
are not looked upper class or lower class can perform a movement along with the
men. By doing this social revolution, it can be the realization of a socialist state,
which in the view of Soekarno in a socialist country will be free and independent
woman of cracks due to the values that have been created by people who think
that women have always been subordinate to men.
Overall, this study conducted using two theories, namely the theory of
discourse analysis in Norman Fairclough perspective and Feminist theory. The
