Efektivitas Program Pelayanan Sosial Bagi Perkembangan Biopsikososial Spiritual Remaja Tuna Rungu Wicara di Upt Pelayanan Sosial Tuna Rungu Wicara dan Lansia Pematang Siantar

Abstract

People with deaf and speech disabilities should receive special attention from their families, the community and the government, for they have the same rights and obligations in all aspects of life. Among them is the ability of the physical (biological), mental (psychological), social and spiritual, so that people with disabilities are able to develop properly just like a normal human being. People with deaf and speech disabilities still have a lot of potential that can be developed so that they can communicate with the environment. That potential can also be developed to support them to live independently in accordance with their interests and skills. Lying upon that matter, UPT of Social Service for People with Deaf & Speech Disability and Aged People Pematang Siantar provides social services, either physically, mentally, socially and spiritually for teenagers with deaf and speech disability so that they can grow well. This study aims to determine the extent to which the effectiveness of the implementation of social service programs for the Spiritual Biopsychosocial Development of Teenagers with Deaf & Mute Disability in UPT of Social Service for People with Deaf & Speech Disability and Aged People Pematang Siantar. This type of research is classified as descriptive research which aims to illustrate the effectiveness of the implementation of the spiritual biopsychosocial program for teenagers with deaf and speech disability. The populations in this study are 22 teenagers with deaf and speech disability as citizens of the UPT. The technique of data analysis in this study uses a single table and described quantitatively by using Likert Scale. The conclusion obtained through the data analysis is that the effectiveness of the social service programs for the spiritual biopsychosocial development of teenagers with deaf and speech disability Pematang Siantar is effective. The calculation result is considered as effective viewed from several measurements that have been done which are based on understanding of the program as much as 0:52, target accuracy as much as 0.65, time precision as much as 0.65, the achievement of goals as much as 0:59, and the better changes of teenagers with deaf and speech disability.
