dc.description.abstract | Poverty is a condition of decreasing the carrying capacity of the survival
process of an individual or a group. To overcome the problem, the individual must
find a job to be able to survive. But the development of the era, the level of
competition in the workplace increasingly tight. The lack of education makes the
individual must work odd jobs and rely solely on energy. One of them is daily labor
off (aron), so that individuals and groups can maintain their household economy.
One area that requires a lot of manpower as a daily labor off (aron) to increase the
productivity of goods and services in the field of agriculture in the village of
Jaranguda, Merdeka District, Karo District.
This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive method. This
study aims to find out the social economic life of casual laborers (aron) in the village
of Jaranguda, Merdeka District, Karo Regency in overcoming the economic
problems that occur.
Based on the research that the authors did, it was concluded that daily
freelance workers (aron) in the village of Jaranguda, Merdeka District, Karo Regency
were the main work done by the villagers, even they came from various regions to
the village of Jaranguda because they thought that the land area in the village Making
them easier to meet the needs of everyday life. But with minimal wages it keeps the
daily laborers off (aron) not entirely saving, so they have to resort to cost suppression
spending strategies to sustain their economies. | en_US |
