| dc.description.abstract | Revitalization of double tracks conducted by PT. Kereta Api Indonesia affects the
family life of the rail fringes in Kelurahan Glugur land II. Those who are poor
families become victims of revitalization conducted by the PT. The Indonesian
Railway. This study aims to determine whether or not the impact of revitalization
of Double Line PT. Kereta Api Indonesia to socio-economic rural fringe family in
Kelurahan Glugur darat II East Medan Subdistrict. This type of research belongs
to explanative research that aims to test or prove the hypothesis with data
collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews and observation. The
data obtained were tabulated into the next table analyzed by paired sample test
technique (t test). The population of this study is a family of rail fringes living in
Kelurahan Glugur Darat II which amounted to 64 family heads. The conclusions
obtained based on data that has been collected and has been analyzed that the
revitalization of double track PT. Kereta Api Indonesia has an impact on housing
conditions, business activities/daily work, frequencies gathered among fellow
residents rail, the level of awareness among fellow residents rail and the mutual
activities gotong royong which decreases where t count> t table and t value is on
Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. This means that there is a significant impact of
double track revitalization of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia. While the condition of
income, occupation, fulfillment kebutuahn food and clothing and frequency of
respondents in performing worship there is no impact of double track
revitalization PT. Kereta Api Indonesia where the value of t arithmetic <t table so
