Respon Masyarakat Terhadap Sanitasi melalui Septictank Ramah Lingkungan Dampingan Lembaga Pelayanan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Indonesia (YAKMI) di Kelurahan Kota Bangun Kecamatan Medan Deli Kota Medan

Abstract

In the life of now a lot of community members who do not apply healthy life. It can because of an indonesian society do not understand how apply healthy life or in some cases understand but not apply it for a reason certain , for example economic problems family .In order to the application of healthy life then one of important aspect his is improving environmental sanitation. Environmental sanitation is status health a neighborhood includes housing, development, sewage, clean water supply. In a bid to improve sanitation in environment usaid work together with lembaga yakmi implement the program development assistance septictank environmentally friendly for low income resident in 5 urban villages in the city of medan. The research was conducted in YAKMI assisted area, namely at the urban village Kota Bangun.This research in a research descriptive namely research who describes or described objects and its phenomena study.To obtain the necessary data, researchers used data collection study technique literature and a field study consisting of the questionnaire and interview.In doing data analysis, researchers used the method of analysis descriptive with a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the analysis the data collected, can be concluded that the community cooperate yakmi in the urban village Kota Bangun having a positive response of the program environmental sanitation, the development of septictank environmentally friendly. Response the community seen from perception, attitude and participation of the program. Development assistance program septictank of the environmentally friendly very helpful for the community both in terms of benefits and matter because the subsidy received 2.5 million rupiah.
