Kontribusi Aktivitas Wisata terhadap Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat di Desa Timbang Jaya Kecamatan Bahorok Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

The research is held in Bukit Lawang, one of tourism objects in North Sumatera, mainly in Timbang Jaya Village, Bahorok district, Langkat Regency. Since there are many tourism activities held by the tourists, there found tourism products which include the local society and contribute to social economy of Timbang Jaya society. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The research is located in Timbang Jaya Village, Bahorok District, Langkat Regency. The population of this research is the society that provides service (tourism goods) in Timbang jaya Village which consists of 221 families. If the population is more than 100 then number of sample taken could be 10%-15 % of the population. The sample of this research is 10 % of 221 families which is22.1, rounded to be 22 families. There are two method of collecting the data, firstly. Literature research and secondly, field research. The data collected is analysed qualitative descriptively. Based on the table and data analysis, it can be concluded that the research shows that the research shows that Bukit Lawang tourism activity contributes social economy to the society around Bukit Lawang tourism object.
