Efektifitas Program Pelayanan Sosial Anak Balita di Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Pelayanan Sosial Anak Balita Medan

Abstract

Toddlers is a basic foundation for the development of life in the future so keep in mind that the journey of life in the future better. One of the social phenomena in the modern era is the number of women who work in the public sector, in this condition apart from mothers of children under five are supposed to protect and guide all times. Through a program of social service programs toddlers is expected to provide services to poor families, as well as working parents who have young children, so that they are not abandoned toddler at home without the built in accordance with the toddler period. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the implementation of social service programs toddlers Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Social Services Early Childhood field. This research was conducted in Social Services Early Childhood Unit field, which is located at Jalan T.Amir Hamzah 59 A, Village East Helvetia, district of Medan Helvetia, North Sumatra Province. This type of research is classified as a type of descriptive research that aims to illustrate the effectiveness of the implementation of social service programs toddlers. The sample in this study is 12 foster children Social Services Early Childhood Unit field, to determine the condition of children under five are represented parents due to age. While the techniques of data analysis in this study using a single table and described in detail. Based on the results of the study showed some conclusions, there are some social service programs toddler given by UPT, a program of study, program play, program maintenance and provision of nutritious food, social development programs, mental and physical individually or in groups. Results obtained through the five categories of data analysis (understanding the program, targeting accuracy, timeliness, achievement of goals and real change), can be seen by the average value of the implementation of social service programs toddler already done effectively. It can be concluded that the implementation of social service programs toddlers by Social Services Early Childhood Unit field is effective.
