| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to describe and analyze the strategies of cultural
tourism and the Regency of the Dairi was associated with the development of the
tourist attractions of the garden of Faith in an attempt to boost the tourists. The
theory used is a SWOT analysis that includes strategy Strength-Opportunity (SO),
strategy Weakness-Opportunity (WO), Strength strategy-Threats (ST), strategy
Weakness-Threats (WT).
Form of research used in this research is descriptive research with
qualitative approach that suggests problems as found in field with the awarding of
an analysis of the strategy of the tourism and Cultural District Dairi in the
increase of tourists visit include strategy Strength-Opportunity (SO), strategy
Weakness-Opportunity (WO), Strength strategy-Threats (ST), strategy Weakness-
Threats (WT).
The results of research in the Department of tourism and culture District
Dairi can be obtained that the strategies are done in improving the visit can be
said to be good because of the increasing level of tourists visit each year, the
availability of facilities and infrastructure that supports the process of the
implementation of the service in order to provide comfort and satisfaction for
visitors to tour the Grounds of faith. Tourism and Cultural District of the Dairi
was already doing strategy using a SWOT analysis, but there are still obstacles
and deficiencies in doing Ministry and has not been in accordance with the wishes
of the community, among others, the inconvenience of the bathroom in the sights,
