Faktor-Faktor Penyebab Anak Bekerja di Desa Baru Kecamatan Pancur Batu Kabupaten Deli Serdang
Abstract
This thesis is submitted in order to achieve a degree qualified Social
Welfare, with the title "The Factors that Cause Children Working in the
Village of Baru, Sub-district of Pancur Batu, District of Deli Serdang".
Children working at an early age has become a phenomenon in society.
Parents who have a role as a protector of their children are increasingly not
perform its role as it should. Children characterized by decisions that are unstable.
Children are very easily attracted to things done by adults without considering the
risk to the child. Inability to respond to the demands of family life and other
factors have attracted children into working life which should not they faced.
Many of the factors that make a lot of children who work as a phenomenon of
social problems in the community.
This research was conducted using qualitative methods, and methods of
data collection using individual experience (life story) of the study subjects are 5
key informants and 5 additional informants who do participate observation and indepth
interviews of children who work in Village of Baru, Sub-district of Pancur
Batu, District of Deli Serdang.
The results of the study explained that the children most of the rest of
informants because the conditions of poverty and employment low-income
parents. This makes children work to support their families and are used to meet
the needs of himself as school, snack, play games. Children working while
studying on their own and from call people around the neighborhood. Other
factors that contribute to the cultural factor is hereditary teach children resilient
and self-reliant in everyday life, in addition to the ignorance of the parents or the
ignorance of people who employ children to the law about children not being
allowed to work, after that because of urbanization, since most new village
community are migrants from other regions and their influence things like
adaptation and survival in the new environment makes children are also involved
in helping to meet the needs of working families and their own needs.
