dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the effect of gratitude on reducing anxiety in working mothers. This research was conducted with an experimental method using a time series design. The subjects in this study were 3 people, each of whom received an intervention in the form of gratitude journaling for 21 days. Measurements were carried out 4 times using the State Trait Anxiety Inventory and Gratitude Quotient Test. The Gratitude Quotient Test in this study was used as a manipulation check. Anxiety measurement scores were analyzed non-parametrically using the Friedman test. For the state scale, x2 is 9.00, df is 3, p-value is 0.029 (p < 0.05). For the trait scale, x2 is 9.00, df is 3, p-value is 0.029 (p < 0.05). The results of statistical tests for state and trait scales show that there is an effect of gratitude on decreasing anxiety in working mothers. This study produces empirical evidence regarding the effectiveness of gratitude journaling on reducing anxiety in working mothers and shows that gratitude journaling can be used as a non-clinical intervention to reduce anxiety in working mothers. | en_US |
