Analisis Perubahan Tutupan Lahan di DAS Belawan Periode 2000-2011

Abstract

NAJMATUL KHAIRAT : Analysis of Land Cover Change in Belawan watershed period 2000-2011. Under the supervision of RAHMAWATY AND ABDUL RAUF. Watershed ( DAS ) Belawan is a very complex area utilization . Utilization and management of the less noticed aspects of the sustainability of a watershed area will lead to pressure for Belawan watershed conditions . This studied aims to determined land cover change and the factors that influenced changes in land cover. Changes in land cover extensive analysis performed used change detection methods in Arc View GIS tool . The factors that caused changes in land cover analisis used Analytical Hierarchy Process ( AHP ) . The results showed plantations throughout the year 2000-2011 and having a mix of dryland farming area reduction into primary dryland agriculture . Secondary mangrove forest , dryland farming and mixed shrub swamp has been changed into the pond . Dryland agriculture and open land is also changing land cover into field . The rate of change of the most dominant land cover in Das Belawan is dryland farming into field . The main factors causing land cover change is the conversion of land in the watershed region , and socio - cultural circumstances as factors of education, employment and daily habits of people living in the watershed . Having analyzed using AHP method , income and activities of stakeholders involved in the economic criteria into the causes of changes in land cover in the watershed Belawan and offered an alternative to the causal factors of land cover change is law enforcement.
