Respon Masyarakat terhadap Program JAMKESMAS oleh Puskesmas Kesatria di Kecamatan Siantar Timur Kota Pematang Siantar

Abstract

Indonesia has a wide range of issues of poverty and unemployment. This is of coursegreatly affect the level of public health, especially the lower middle class. In Indonesia, one of the efforts made to improve public health is to create program jaminan kesehatan masyarakat. Once the program is running, a lot people who have a positive impact directly. Problems discussed in this thesis was to see firsthand how the public response to the Public Health Insurance Program (Jamkesmas) is viewed from three variables : perceptions, attitudes and participation. The research was conducted at the East district Siantar City Pematang Siantar. The number of population in this study were community participants Jamkesmas program that amounted to 92 people and intruments used were questionnaires. The research method used is descriptive method. These results are supported by interviews and field observations. Data obtained from this sudy are tabulated in a single table and then analyzed. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it is known that the public response to the Public Health Insurance Program is positive. It can be seen from three variables: perceptions, attitudes and participation. Based on the results of these three variables, the average public response to Jamkesmas is positive , where the value is 0.46 for the perception, attitudes to the value of participation with a value of 0.82 and 0.58.
