dc.description.abstractSociety of North Sumatra, Indonesia in particular is still struggling in poverty, as noted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in March 2010 that the number of people living below the poverty line reached 31.02 million people in North Sumatra alone, while the number of poor people there are as many as 1490 .900 soul. The poor state of the cause they are unable to meet health costs. Because of these circumstances, the government create a program to address the problem of poor health. One is the Public's Health Insurance Program (Jamkesmas). Jamkesmas program is certainly going to get a positive response. However, this can not be ascertained because in determining the response can be seen from the three variables, namely perception, attitudes, and participation. In view of this condition, every society in various regions will have a different response - different to a program provided by the government. This study aims to determine the Village Community Response Against Lintongnihuta Sitio II District Program Jamkesmas by Doloksanggul Regional General Hospital. Descriptive research method uses type that is a picture of the overall condition of how the community responses. The research was conducted in the village of Sitio II with respondents numbered 15 people. The technique of collecting data through questionnaires to respondents, observation, with respondents who could strengthen the research data. While the method used is descriptive analysis, data obtained from studies researched and answers - the answers were classified according to kind of - that stuff and then tabulated into frequency tables were analyzed, and using a Likert scale to measure the variables - variables. Based on the data - data that has been collected and analyzed can be concluded that in the average - average Jamkesmas program received a positive response from the community with a value of 0.76. Consists of the perception of the value of 0.80 and 0.87 as well as attitudes to the value of participation by value, 60. Society hopes Jamkesmas program continues.en_US
