Berastagi county has a potential home industry in rabbit farming. The purposes of this research are to study the rabbit farming home industry profile, to analyze the production factors such as capital, rabbits parents, employee, breeding pattern, the impact of rabbit's cesspit on the income of the farmer, and the impact of rabbit farming on the development of Berastagi county. The research method is case study using questionnaires. The population is 153 rabbit farming and the sample is 60 in Berastagi County. The result showed that the rabbit farming home industry profile was varied in effecting the development of rabbit farming. Multiple tinier regressions showed that capital and rabbit parents had significant effect on production; however employees and breeding pattern are less significant. The role and the impact of rabbit farming on the region's development showed in the increase of the rabbit farmer's income and the rabbit's cesspit (urine and feces) were used for farmers ' plants. The distribution channel for selling the rabbits mainly is from outside Karo resident, meant extra income for breasting county and Karo resident, and it also meant the rabbit farming had multiplier effect on regional gross domestic product Karo. Furthermore, extra income also meant the development of Berastagi county and Berastagi resident.
