| dc.description.abstract | Prostituion is one kind of social phenomenon in society that being complex, both in terms
of causing, process or social implications inflicted. Prostitution with a variety of these versions
that all the days perennial. Because its called as the oldest profession, services of prostitution that
substantially looks by members of society that instatiable their desire of sex. The prostitution
problems is a structural problem.The basic problems that happened in society is they still
perceive as a moral issue. They had not realizing this moral perceptions makes an attitude
“blame the victims” at the ends. Between the most important reasons that background is the
structural poverty. The structure of policies that impartial of weak makes the poor one more
poor, and the rich one became accumulate their wealth.
This research conducted at losmen Serasi Baru Medan that adjoin by Perempuan Peduli
Pedila (P3M). This is descriptive research which the informan key are the sex workers as many
three people and an additional informan as employee in Perempuan Peduli Pedila Medan (P3M)
with deep interview and observation. Data obtained in the field and analyzed by researcher that
explained qualitative, eventually conclusions may be drawn from the research.
Basedon research that writes do, overall inconclusive that women sex workers who earns
aliving can assist in the economy. It is spotted with an icrease in income of family, housing a
livable, food are being fulfilled its simplicity, grid a self fulfilling even only when it needs, good
healthy, interaction going as well as the public generally, but they still cover their indentity of
