In the modern era like today, businesses experiencing success in carrying
out their goals cannot be separated from the human resource factor (employees).
If the human resource factor is considered incompetent in a company, it is certain
that the company can experience a decline in performance.
Performance is the result of work in quality and quantity achieved by an
employee in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities given
to him. There are 2 main indicators of performance measurement, output
indicators and outcome indicators. The purpose of this study was to determine
how leadership style and compensation in improving employee performance.
This study uses a qualitative approach. Direct researchers act as the main
research tool which carries out the research process directly and actively
interviews, collects data, processes data/data analysis, reports and draws
conclusions. This research uses the type of case study research, a case study is a
research that is carried out in an incentive, detailed and in-depth manner towards
an organization, institution.
The results of the study show that The Clinic Beautylosophy Medan
applies a participatory leadership style model, it can be seen from several
interviews. Compensation at The Clinic Beautylosophy Medan in the form of
direct and indirect compensation. To improve performance at The Clinic
Beautylosophy Medan, it can be seen by the leadership style and the provision of
compensation, both of which are carried out well by the leadership, which makes
employees enthusiastic in carrying out their duties so that they quickly achieve
organizational goals.
