Abstract

Beggars are a group of people who have a chance to own a decent life as other community, But the state of physical less than perfect, a factor of old age could no longer to work and also because the impulse that makes them being a beggar . In addition to physical factors less than perfect they also accept with the state of which makes they could not get out of a circle of poverty that surrounded them . Methods used in this research is research deksriptif with the qualitative method to interview to several people who are five main informant and 4 additional informant. research it was implemented in the location of the esplanade independent , markets were shocked and road binjai irian city . The results of research shows that beggars that commit activities in the location of the esplanade independent , markets were shocked and road irian that beggars assume a person who will pass road irian and visitors shocked the market had a high social . Visitors usually shocked the market was a teenager and had a pity that high . Every day of a beggar can get more money than fifty thousand rupiah every time begging at the location and the location . The number is enough to meet the needs of their lives . If this condition we keep , it will be led to many of the practice of begging in the community and being to mental decline in the indonesian nation.
