Pengembangan Alat Pemotong Tangkai Daun Lobak (Raphanus sativus L.) dengan Sistem Pneumatik Horizontal dan Penambahan Sekat Pembatas
Abstract
The development of a radish leaf stalk cutting tool (Raphanus sativus L.) with a horizontal pneumatic system and the addition of a barrier divider aims to improve the work efficiency of the tool from previous research tools. This study also conducted tool testing, analyzing the economical and ergonomic aspects of the tool. The results showed that the working capacity of the tool was 467.56 kg/hour. The percentage of cut material for MP1 is on average 100%, while for MP2 it is 91.11%. For the percentage of uncut material at 0% MP1 while MP2 obtained 8.89% results. In the economic analysis of the tool, the basic cost of the tool is IDR 3,024.98/kg, in this tool there will be a break-even point if the BEP value is 2,108.7kg/year. The tool has an NPV value at an interest rate of 6% IDR 2.136 Billion/year and a trial interest rate of 10%, an NPV value of IDR 1.922 Billion/year, this tool is profitable because the NPV value is > 0. Meanwhile, the IRR value of this tool is 49.89%, where the bank interest rate is smaller than the IRR value, this tool is profitable. In the ergonomic analysis using the pulse method, the average %CVL is 13.52%, whereas the %CVL classification indicates that there is no work fatigue on the operator. In the ergofellow software, the final conclusion is that there is a need for further development in the cutting space of tools such as bulkheads and material outlets.
